Sometimes when it come to money .. Friendship, relationship or w.e ship is been cast aside. Got a friend who borrow just $100 from me .. I ask him like when he can return cos he promise mi next day he will xfer to me .. The 3rd day i just wanted to call him out for a drink he MIA. Damn long liao .. But it's ok la ..

What sort of friend? How close? Like others have suggested, it's like you don't need the $ and you're not intending to get it back...So many people burning their fingers at this point of time, how many can you help?
He use the money for what?
To return debt? Then he use what to return you...?
To invest so have money? Then you're encouraging him to gamble and burn his fingers again...

1 thing i learn in life is .. Whether there's issue about money between friends .. The chances of them quarreling over it damn high and in the end not friends anymore.
If i were to lend i think i dun have high hope of money to come back.
