Hi,
My friend bought this item for me from Taiwan:
It's a very cute figurine (about 2 cm) which can be used as cell phone strap, or necklace, or bracelet, etc.
I heard it's all made by hand and made of used electronic parts one by one. The people took out the parts from motherboard and then put them all together. I think it's very unique and pretty.
My friend told me it costs around S$30. Seems like a bit expensive to me. Will anyone buy this item if it costs that much?
Anyone has ever seen it in Singapore? Where would be the possible area I can find such item?

it isn't worth $30. it is just made up of recycled and cheap stuff.
Yes, it's true. It's made of some recycled electronic parts. But I think it's the handmade cost and the creativity which made it that expensive.
Want to know more people's thoughts. I'm just thinking if it's a good item to buy as gift to my friend's graduation. Want something unique, but won't be thought too cheap.
Of course, still need to know if can find it from anywhere in Singapore.
but if ask me $30 buy this for gf, i will.
no complains
OK, seems like it's not quite possible to find this item in Singapore. I may need to ask my Taiwan friend to buy one for me.
But just another thought came up my mind. I'm thinking if it's possible to ask my Taiwan friend to get me this item and resell somewhere in Singapore. Of course, will see if he can get a discounted price from the manufacturer and at least can keep selling at the regular retail price (i.e. around S$30). Anyone has any thoughts about it? Do you think it can sell online or get some space from some local retail shops, or pushcart operators?
