Hello sgforumites, mates want to get ourselves a bbq next month and ive decided to make my own and i need an old metal fuel drum. Any idea where i can buy one of those in SIngapore? Ive called one scrap metal yard and he told me they don't use fuel drums in Singapore.. i'm not sure if he was bsing me or just trying to get out of serving/advising me. Anyway, i thought i'd check with you guys.
There was another post on this, some guy wanted to make a raft. If he's still reading this, you can use old whey protein containers, i made a raft from those once, worked well. Anyway, that post said to check at the bottom of HDB blocks? But HDB blocks don't have old fuel drums at all lol. I'm going to call a few gas stations shortly.

Maybe you will like to try asking ( and paying ) some of the foreign workers at Marina Area to help you get the drums from inside the containers and factories area.
