My dad, is a aspiring music composer. And he has been composing his own stuff for the last 2years.. Now finally he has made a demo cd with 10 songs, and he wants to send it to liferecords.
Anyone knows exactly how? Do i send the cd directly to their address or wat?
Shoot to Email , and letter and deliver personally to CEO of the company . so prepare 3 copies : D
send it in by hand in person at its doorstep...

Try these two local record companies and ask for their opinion first before your dad tries anything else out.
Speak to them first before sending them anything.
Alternatively, post up your dad's music on this sites:
1) Youtube
2) Imeem
3) Myspace
Link it to this forum and other local forums, and the people will judge for themselves.
yup. post in youtube and see the public opinion.
all of his songs are in malay.. and from wat i've heard, sadly none of his songs sounds like wat kids these day are going to listen to.....
But since its my dad, and he believes that unless the person that comment on his songs is a musical expert. Then they dont know wat they're talking bout... (so uploading it to anywhere is kinda useless)
i'm juz gonna get thz over with and send the demo ASAP and let the "real experts" break his heart. (hopefully not) lol
