one kidney vs two kidneys

Does anyone know, if donate 1 kidney liaw, left with 1 kidney... then daily life will be affected ?
like, the 1 kidney will have to work harder leading to easier for it to go failure lar, those things?

Of course lar.
If you had an airplane with 4 engines, but it can fly with just 2, and 2 broke down, of course the other 2 have to work harder right? -

1 kidney means that you will have to watch your diet, and have a regular exercising regime, that is all.
If you have only 1 kidney left, this kidney will grow by itself to be 150% of its original size so as to support the workload of 2 kidneys. Of course obviously it can't work as hard as 2 normal and functionable kidneys, so please eat less salty food if you do not want it to go 'poof' on you.
