I thought the 手早� means use hand to stir, guess I was wrong.

Well, the best is to use an egg-beater to do the job, comfirm better than hand and spoon.

but then is totally different from what he was instructed to do ah.. hand and spoon stiring super de slow and gentle.. egg beater might make the cream too thick and hard.

sorry I have no choice but to complement to your explanation last night
coz if it wasn't too far off (if u specified some other crockery to stir) i would leave it as it is
i did not want ronghe to end up putting his hand into the bowl when he could use the spoon as instructed by the japanese themselves lar
