What are the benefits of being sg citizen? We hav to compete with foreign talents while the governments says they are crucial. Most of them come at a young age and without the long years of studying redundant stuff getting thru the singapore education system. Not to mention NS for guys, 2 yrs. And then there is reservist.

singapore passport, a better stepping stone to migrate to western countries more easily. (compared to a PRC passport)singapore nric, a card to enjoy public subsidies
income tax, no need to pay singapore govt any income tax when u earn money from overseas or earning foreign money while living and based overseas (compared to a US citizen)
