Location to sell old Singapore money

hi, i have some very very old money, those birds, those plastic 50 dollar note and many many more..
was thinking, is there any way to sell these notes at a higher price than its value? for example a very old 50 dollar note sell for 100 dollar... is there such thing?
if there is, how to sell and where to sell? please tell me thanks!

the sellers there (china square) who are selling old notes (orchid, bird & what-nots), they have much more than you in terms of quantity (whole stacks) and quality (worthiness). 1 uncle who chatted with me, showed me he has a misprinted $1 bird note which he offered $2,800. He also tried to psycho me to buy a bird note $500 for $550 only (read: it's not even 100% profits). so, what makes you (threadstarter) think that your notes are more worthy than theirs that you can sell for 100% profits?? :lol:

if mine is nothing much just very very old notes, older than those bird version... i get to sell at a higher price? for example a $50 dollar note for like $60? not asking much tho cuz quality these all are not good... or maybe i cant sell?

Theoreticallty, if u use a Orchid $1 to buy a $1 item, the note will still be treated as $1.
The notes are only worthy to collectors and the price transacted is only between buyers and sellers, ie. theres not really a open market for them.Read these somewhere.. although i also hoped theres a "market" for them.....

my grandma has a lot she got very very old one, before WW2 a lot cause last time my great great grandma die, she leave some of her collection of $ to her and now i hope when my grandma die peacefully i hope the will she want is to give me some notes. the old one so i can show to my child in future. :d

lol actually i am asking on my mum behalf... she said she will be selling but not soon...
at least now i noe a little bout these stuff...
i only noe she got the $50 dollar plastic note... guess thats already very old le.. i saw b4 she got one whole stack of old notes... not sure la.. maybe wont even sell at higher value than the note itself

There're MANY sellers out there selling @ only 10-20% above face value for the ship & bird series. For orchid series (the oldest series before straits settlements), the uncles there are selling like at most 50% above face value. unless your notes got nice serial numbers like 22222222 or 77777777 or 88888888 or misprint/mistakes, if not, forget it. really!
