Hey everyone
I couldn't find any appropriate forum to post this so I'm posting it here.
Late last night I received 2 SMSes from this UK number +421905556847:
Your cell # has won you 150,000 GBP, Pin:312 on Orange Mobile Holiday Promo, send your names to [email protected] or call +447031998526 for info
and
Congratulations! Claim your 500,000GBP, on Orange2009lotto, send names, cell # and pin # to [email protected] or call +447031998526
I don't recall having submitted my number to any Orange Mobile or UK sites. I think this is a scam from searching the phone number in Google so take note!
Tell that fella to send you only 50,000GBP, and he can keep the rest.
you should reply,
hey, this trick is outdated alr, im no longer excited by it, can you come up with better ideas?
thanks alot.
If you reply then you die liao......
Do not reply to the SMS or call them....cause if you do, the next thing you know would be at the end of the month, your bills will be 500,000GBP, you would owe them thousands of dollars already. This scam very common.
Remember do not reply. You can refer the sms to the police though.
why waste money on international sms right lol. and nightzip is very true.. ehh but i wasn't scammed, can tell police meh?
can, assisting the police in investigating
police will just tell you they can't do anything... not in their jurisdiction. relative's experience.
Thanks for the reminder..
Just dont reply lor if you had such messages.... Delete it.
