Local designer clothes, Handmade Items apart from HAJI LANE

  Hi everyone,
  
  I know there're quite a lot of special items can be found in Haji Lane (e.g. clothes designed by local designers, handmade jewelries and accessories by individuals, unique items brought from overseas, etc etc). It's a quite good place to look for something that you can't find a those popular shopping malls (actually most of them are more or less the same as they're stuffed with dull chain stores).
  
  Does anyone know any other similar places in Singapore? I think it's fun to explore those small individual shops as you can have a lot of surprises all the time.

  eerr..... iluma.......though i think nothing much oso
  and those rent-a-box places.....
  flea markets....
  
  of cos, online is the best places to dig such deals
  but be prepared to pay premium

  Hm.... I'm not really looking for arts or crafts. Actually I want to find some special fashion accessory items, could be handmade or locally designed, or imported from other countries.... I think something like the Harajuku in Japan...

  Anyone got any idea?
