Art shop

  Hi all,

  Can anyone tell me whether there is any art shop in singapore? I searched a lot but didnt get any shop add.

  I wanna to buy drawing materials like water colour paper or canvas or charcoal stick for drawing..etc...materials related to drawing.

  If anybody knows about any art shop selling these sort of things do give a reply to dis topic....

  U can go bras basah there got art fren, popular, and shi bao zai.... N some other shop behind got another shop call strais comercial or something.

  If nt u can go to orchard taka there 4th floor i think on top of kino there also got art fren n creative hand...

  ArtFriend at Takashimaya!!!!!! very huge.

  next to ArtFriend at Taka got several other similar shops selling even more unique stuff than ArtFriend.

  Popular better lar for normal standard.

  Best standard is go to straits commercial there behind bras basar. Got colour pigment etc all top quality... Art fren n popular is avg range.... cheap cheap de go look at shi bao zai... best is hab member card even cheaper....

  artfriend sells a huge variety of products, but for each type of product category, it's limited to a couple of brands (not enough depth).

  they're good as a one-stop shop, though.

  Thanks guys....for your reply...i have visited popular but they dont keep all those materials which are essential for painting...like if you look for charcoal stick u wont find any and of course the brushes are very costly...i think so....lemme check artfriend at taka....actually i browsed the internet and got one add in orchard "far east shopping centre"...i donno it keeps art supplies or not...

  Dun mind my correction: Not sunshine plaza but IOI plaza, there is an art friend shop there.

  Art friend has 3 outlets in Singapore - Taka (level 4), Bras Basah (level 3) and IOI Plaza (level 1.. middle road there opp sunshine plaza).
  
  You can get your charcoal stick at Art friend. Anyway if you think the brushes at Popular are expensive.... well wait till when you go to Art friend   There are other art shops at Bras Basah selling less expensive stuffs tho.... Go and explore when you get there. Dont know if it was just me, but I find the Popular at Bras Basah to have more stuffs for painting than other branches.
