If you have a million dollars, how will you spend it?

  I recently was convinced to buy a lottery ticket out of sympathy for an old man selling one. The prize was 2.2 million if I struck the first prize. (Quite unlikely, anyway).
  
  Anyway, this led me to a curiousity.
  
  So, how will you spend your million dollars?

  go travel around the world, shopping, buy a free hold condo property, buy a normal car and donate to charities. the rest put in banks for FT deposits

  go to the roadside of italy eat spaghetti, drink coffee.

  buy shophouse collect rent, bring dog out for stroll. etc...

  800k invest into different forms of equities, with target of around 8% yield p.a.

  This translates to about 5k average monthly dividends to spend

  Remaining 200k, combining with selling house and + savings, go buy a corner terrace...

   

  Then shake leg enjoy life

  For me, 100k give father, 100k give mother, 100k distributed to siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts and relatives.

  700k buy a property.

  Rent out that property and collect rent every month.
