I had made a purchase from the internet and give the person the postage address which is used locally
for example:
Dave
123 Max Drive
#01-1234
Singapore 123456
This address was given to him but 10 minutes ago I just realized that it should be:
Dave
123 Max Drive
#01-1234
Singapore 123456
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
I gave the address to the seller the local one, can I still get the mail to SINGAPORE from HONGKONG AIRMAIL?
Best regards
Max
Shouldn't be a problem, unless the person has no common sense or is out to make things difficult for you. Neither of these two seems likely though.

2 that I know of. I got once a letter went to a town called Singapore in Japan and later redirected back to Singapore here. Took half a year for that air mail to reach me from New York.![]()

Okay, I take back my words.
Good Luck to TS.
Ok now I ask him again and this time, the truth is he actually wrote the mailing address in this format....

A sender from HongKong SAR made a mail containing some important document to the following address:
Dave
Happy Ring Road Blk 123 #01-1234
123456 default
Singapore
91111111
A few hours ago I found out that the actual postage address is:
Dave
123 Happy Ring Road
#01-1234
Singapore 123456
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
Because he is not local, he does not know the actual postage address to
me, he can only roughly write the address. I notice that the format is
wrong, the alignment. The '123456 default' is actually the postal code
and 91111111 is my Singapore telephone number.
So in the above case, will I still receive my item to the actual
shipment address as he didn't purchase registered mail or insurance? It
contain USD$99 worth of product which is very important to me.
Don't worry, the chance I got is one in million.

Max - "Airmail" - if deliver to within Hong Kong - got no airmail !!!
So stop frightening yourself !!!
The seller have charge you for international airmail - thus he would know that you are oversea.
Dave
123 Max Drive
#01-1234
Singapore 123456
will just do fine.
the address is ok, if it is lost, not because of the address, it is the matter of who handle the doucment...
