i recently pierced my ear at 77th street...but after three days i changed my ear stud tat they gave me to a transparent stick!!! cos sch dun allowT_T
bad ting is my ear will be pain wen i changed the ear stud n even after 1 wk wen squeezed gt some liquid that is white n slightly yellowish.. wonder if gt infection anot??? thx to all who can giv me advise! thx

yellow liquid = pus
pus = infection
go see a doctor to get it cleaned and sterilised, and antibiotic cream or something like that...
also, why the hell did you fricken pierce your ears when it's against school rules? another rebel without a clue?
erm i nid is advise and not y i pierce is not against the sch actually as long as it is those sticks or simple studs! haha thx anyway

But before that, your ear will slowly decompose from the infected portion and after 7 days it wll drop off.

yes u got infection already, u jolly well go see a doctor, ear infection can be a big deal.
you're not supposed to remove the stud until about 2-3 weeks later.
yeah, it's infected. is your lymph nodes swollen? that should give you an idea of how serious it is. anyway see a doc - he'll probably give you some creams etc and ask you to remove the stud.
the hole will probably close. not sure if you can re-pierce on the same place again coz i didn't wanna try when my infection healed. i did it on the other ear instead.

n wen i went to the bluez they told me tat it is safe to take out after three days... nw a bit confused. but still nid u guys to giv me tips! thx

but basically it tells you if you have an infection. the last (and only one) time my piercing got infected, the lymph node on my neck was swollen - it feels like a pea. anyway, see a doc.
it's usually best not to remove/touch the stud/piercing for at least 2-3 weeks after you have it done. also keep it dry.

I remove it straight on that day. Nothing bad happened.

Come on, anyone with (proper) common sense will visit doctor by now, instead of asking "is there an infection with my ear?".
I mean when was the last time you heard that yellow liquid coming out from your ear is normal? The answer: NEVER!
Some people really need a reality check and should stop living in denial. This is the reason why some diseases which can be healed become unhealable because of late detection due to self-denial.
Just like ditzy said, I strongly suggest you to visit a doctor and stop looking for unknown advises on how to stop infection. You wouldn't want to lose a ear.
I may sound harsh but I never take health issues as joke because I know I wouldn't be laughing later if something bad were to happen and the cause for that is I don't want to visit a doctor.
What agenda said about ear rotting might happen, the choice is yours.

i also got mine pierced at 77th st...
no infection for me..i kept on putting the alcohol given to me..
and on and off i will put olive oil or massage oil so that the stud wont stick to my skin..
din dare to take off for a month...no matter how painful it is
Its definitely infected.
You need to stop touching it.
Have your doctor have a look at it, clean it out with alcohol and give you some anti biotics if you can.
And if you need to touch it, to adjust it or whatever, please wash your hands and fingernails thoroughly. Wipe dry hands and spray, wipe, splash some alcohols before you even touch your ears.
Careful when you shower and change your pillowcase and wash your pillow regularly.
Keep your hair off that ear.
If possible change out that stud to gold or surgical steel stud, cos you may have been allergic to the plastic.
And stay away from prawns, seafood for another two weeks till it heels. (I know its old wives tales but lets just be safe, not sorry.)
