Polytechnic 1 year course fee is 10k and after government subsidy we only pay 2k.
I did a check with MOE they say I have completed my diploma in poly so if I want to enroll for another course in poly I won't be eglibile for the subsidy and will have to pay 10k for 1 year.
How much is the subsidy for ITE courses?
If I go to ITE to study will I still be egilible for the subsidy and only pay a small sum or not eglibile already since I ahve completed poly before?
how come got dip alr wanna go ite?
Go for advance diploma... still got subsidy.
illogical thinking...
no wonder u r a trash...
rubbish ideas of downgrade qualifications...
e.g. if u earn $1800 monthly with a polytechnic diploma, then u go get NITEC, ur pay will drop to $1400. ur boss is most happy to cut your pay to fit the NITEC qualifications pay range...

Rubbish people like you can only think of money and nothing else. Some people study is for the interest.
Go sell your backside if you like money so much.

Are you guys saying that ITE is useless? Nowadays if you have poly cert or degree cert also difficult to find a job
but at the end of the month, diploma and degree holders' pay is still higher than nitec holders...

Theres a need for workers at all the different levels so every type of certificate will have their usage since few people are willing to downgrade themselves and work at a level below their cert most of the time.
Specialist diploma got use meh?
Like not much difference when compare it with a 3 year diploma..
Huh? You sure? Specialist diplomas are almost comparable with degrees, some even better.
But most people, on seeing the word "Diploma", will immediately rate it lower than a degree. ![]()

Yep.so with an ITE cert, with competition of dip, grad, A lvls. Isn't it even harder to find a job?
What about this:
Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
