just to configure one simple things, had to call 7 times. Each time, the staff would give me substandard instructions. Also rude and defensive when talking.
Something like this would be solved by M1 in 10minutes! Think will change back to M1. Somehow M1 staff i find very very knowledgable and has authority to make decisions.

Honestly, I don't like singtel's customer service either, but I get what I paid for, so I'm pretty satisfied except the times when I need to cancel my VASs.![]()
Erm... configure only need a sms mah... like for mms, gprs is only a sms that you need to save and set mah...
maybe they just got a paycut?

Not the first time. I called them asking for MMS setting, their replied "The phone should automatically recieve the setting". NB, if my phone received the setting need to call u? (Of course I replied politely)
After which, they replied "If it didn't, please call for the phone manufacturer for details on setting up MMS." WTF!?
Another time called them regarding internet connection setting also the same pattern, it's like they are paid to refer customers to other people.
Therefore, I've came into a conclusion "Google is man's best friend".

She was refering to TS... It savy enough to whine in forum but do not know how to access singtel website.
Strange but I never had any problems with SingTel's customer service before.

how many times do normal customer need to interact with the customer service? For me, is just once, when i want to cancel VAS, in the end send email and they settle...
My mms setting and whatever was settled when i enquire about it after buying the phone, on the spot. So customer service is a low low criteria for me in choosing the telco...

go to the shop and tel or tio the singtel lah...
Think go direct to them in their branch or headquarters, they will do a good job. I did that and was happy they attended to me satisfactorily.
i don't even want to be bothered by their service.
