I just transferred SGD35 into my Singapore paypal account through online banking last week. However, I called them today and bloody hell they say that UOB online banking is not supported. They say they haven't updated the website to reflect this. UOB, DBS and POSB online banking is apparently not supported.
However, I would like to know if it is possible to do a local bank transfer using these 3 banks. Like I go to the bank manually to do the transfer and stuff.
Dun tell me call them cuz I called them countless times and all of them are from China and they do not seem to understand my friggin question.
Hmm... my PayPal account makes use of my debit card.

People often use cards to transfer funds into Paypal... if you are talking about the new features, I had not tested it yet...
You all talking about the US paypal or SG paypal... btw i was referring to the SG paypal. Dunno if you all talking about the same thing or not

i remember u have to key in in words the bank name and how much to tranfer
its will take at least 3 days for the tranfer and there a charge for it (not expensive though) think is S$1.50

It is easier to use a debit or credit card to transfer money. Transfer from bank, Paypal e-check service I don't think available in Sg.
For transfer money back to local bank account from Paypal, it takes about 5 days to clear.
paypal is safer wen making payment thru the internet
I link my paypal account to a credit card with a $2000 limit. so if there is any fraud, I lose $2000 max.
HI paypal is a sophisticated web meant for businese man and transfer of huge funds.. you can use western union or bank transfer as a normal singaporean, don't think you need paypal.
Western Union transfer charges is very expensive as compare to Paypal.

paypal allow u to tranfer to any bank in any country that have link with paypal.
its is possible to tranfer to a account that is not the same name as the owner.
