Just today, i went to "All Smiles" dental. Long time nv go dental and in the end, found out i got alot of fillings to do! Total fee : $400! I was shocked. Almost half of my pay gone. Quite steep. Maybe i got 6 fillings that i need to do but overall nicely done. That is the top part of the teeth. Below not yet done. So i need some advice/place that is cheaper. Need root canal treatment too. They charged me abt 1000 for just 1 tooth and i got 2 to be done. Is there any ways that i can use my medisave or anywhere cheaper? Pls advice!
ur one cheep liao leh.
mine is 80 for cleaning.
250 for wisdom tooth xtraction.
1300 for root canal & 1500 for crowning.
50 for localised scan, 150 for full scan & 250 for x-ray.
100-250 for restoration with resin or 700-900 wif porcelain.
$250 for wisdom tooth extraction?
Not OMS?
That's really cheap! (Provided it's bottom wisdom tooth, the top wisdom tooth only cost maybe $150).
Dr. Lim Kheng Ann charges $800 - $900 for the lower wisdom tooth extraction.
Seems like Hello Kitty has lots of dental problems. ![]()
try Dr Chin. in town...
Where got chio bu dentist?
I’m a 3rd year dental student studying in NUS. Currently I’m looking for some cases to fulfill the criteria for my coursework. The prices are very attractive (much more affordable for those who are worried for the pocket) for the different type of treatment that students provide, and there will always be a qualified dentist on the floor to attend to any difficulties that may arise during the procedures. So please be rest assured of the quality of the work produced (=
But the cons of student treatment is of course the numerous visits down to NUH each lasting about 2-3 hours, the number of visits actually will depend on the severity of the situation.
Basically, the appt visits will be dependent on our timetable (fixed timings) so patients will have to accomodate to that, so sorry about that.
If you are a cost-conscious patient and have flexibility of time, student dental treatment is definitely the way to go!
If you are interested in any form of dental treatment, do not hesitate to email me at [email protected]. Queries will be answered accordingly (=
Interested patients will be required to come down for a short screening to see if you are suitable for undergraduate treatment
1. Endodontic treatment [urgent!]
a. If your teeth are hurting spontaneously (sharp pain even when you do not eat) or they look discoloured (grayish black), your teeth probably need endodontic treatment (will be confirmed by xrays)
b. If your dentist has already told you that you need endo treatment, but you are delaying it because of cost factor, please do not hesitate to drop a comment with me (leaving your name and contact number)
c. Endodontics treatment are also indicated when your fillings are too extensive and deep to the extent that there may be some pulpal insults already, resulting in pain and swelling. In severe cases, there might also be pus.
At NUH, we aim towards a comprehensive treatment package for our patients. So we will treat whatever existing problems that you have right from the top, meaning if you need endo treatment, but your oral hygiene is not good, we will target your periodontal problems first, followed by any other fillings that you need before we actually commence on root canal treatment. This is to ensure that patient’s root causes are well taken care! (=
In your enquiry email, you should include the problems that you have and don't forget to leave your contact number/ email and name as well. Thanks so much!

6 fillings??!! wa u how long nv go dentist? y lik that?
all smiles is in town right? town pple usually more expensive...
i'm also looking for cheap ones...
i went to Q and M at jurong east central lar..
but they not bad..tried 2 dentists both are very professional and will let u know when its gonna hurt...so tat u are mentally prepared
Wow $400 for 6 fillings is quite ex...I follow up with Victoria Dentalcare, also in town, but not so ex ...and they dun hard sell treatment also...
just curious... u guys keep saying fillings, filings u mean that black shiny metallic thing to fill up the hole of ur teeth?
if that is so, i primary school always got this kind of thing and that means the school had been providing a lot of money for dental stuff?
Go to a poly clinic with dental care and get them to write a letter to refer u to NDC and then u will get cheaper rate.
But then no such thing as good and cheap k
