Here is a recent Wine Story......A real story.
As you know there is wild fire across southern california. So this owner of the house was asked to evacuate as fire drew near to his house. Before he evavcuated he knew he can't saved his house. So he took all his Wine collections and toss it into his backyard Swimming Pool.
So after he returned to his burn down home. He went back to salvage the Wine.

nope lah....the bottle are simply chilled in the water. So long as there are no leak...it should be fine. Maybe the labels are gone or distorted. I do not know if the wine would really taste different since it was only in the pool for less than a week.
