Lets say you have forgotten to close the lid to your sugar container, and the next day, u see a whole lots of ants in it. . .
What would you do?
Throw the sugar away?
Or do you have a technique to remove to ants from the container?
knock the container to frighten off the ants...
the ants would seems to be running around in a mess only. . .
THis scenario happenend to me yesterday.
ended up throwing the sugar away
pour water into the sugar container...
drown the ants...

Usually people will just throw the sugar... sugar costs very little...
But if u really need to get rid of them...
make a tiny hole, real tiny but ants can come out, then right at the entrance put a chewy gum there...
I tried, cannot clear all but clear most..
add an inch of salt on top of the sugar ![]()
label the bottle "salt" or "ajinomoto" to bluff the ants
put some garlic beside it
can we eat the ant in our tea, coffee together??
hanor hanor put garlic inside.. ants will come out de..
Err.. ants can be eaten. they are high in protein actually. if you don't mind the looks.. try have some ants in your tea.. LOL>
pour boiling water into the bloody jar, that's for ruining my sugar.
I see my mum put dried chill in all the drawers .. Till now didnt see any ants.
But if inside got ants i will for sure throw away the sugar.
if really alot.. ill throw away...
Anyone considered melting the sugar in a pail of water, sieve thru cloth to get rid of the dead ants.
And use the sugar water to soak vegetables and fruits?

Make ant juice...sell for $5 per bottle
haha funny replies u got here xD. er try putting those sour wood (i dont know what they call it actually =.=). It says that it can drive away the ants
Ants are a good source of protein.
Yeah, times are bad. ![]()
i got the best way.
u just shut the jar real tight, air tight. for about 2 minutes.
no more air. the ants will crawl all up., open the lid, they run all out.
Step 1: Pour water into container to float ants.
Step 2: Pour water with ants out with sugar still intact.
Step 3: Put container outside to sun in a bucket filled with a bit of water.
Step 4: After dry , put container back on shelf.
Thats how u remove ants from container.
1) Pour water, seal the container and put it inside a spinning machine to spin for 24 hours.
2) Filter out the ants with a net
Ta da, you can reclaim ur sugar
