If you still cannot see the so subtle happening on this forum thread liao.
Enlightening you will have to cost you money.
I find that most people, when they dont pay $$$ first, they dont seem to get it.

This kind of enlightenment doesn't cost money, it will however cost you your life.

It's not just your calling it cool, you dare to goad people into wearing it and getting into trouble.
You're glorifying an icon of evil and insulted all the people who suffered under the Third Reich in Europe and the soldiers who fought against it, and make light of the SS's atrocities towards innocent men, women and children.
It reflects your lack of taste and respect.

I won't use the term SS as the Hitler Youth is under the SS umbrella. But I would use the term Nazi.

Then your parents were probably born out of chicken eggs? They never suffered thru any kinda rule?

so.. you weren't born when atrocities happened.. gives you the right to spit in the face of those who did?
i do not dispute your right to live your life like that... but please try not to say this to those whose lives are still affected by this evil..
also try to take a peek out of your little hole you hide in.. you'll be surprised how fucked up your words are, and how you have just pissed on the bones of the innocents..
you do not have to be born at that time to know and respect history... just like you do not have to be born a long time ago to be an asshole

No.
I have friends whose parents lived through that period and who lost relatives to the concentration and extermination camps and in the fighting.
I have been in cities that were looted of their treasures, liquidated and levelled, and built from scratch after the war.
I have come face-to-face with the evidence - mountains of suitcases and belongings, sacks of hair shaved from victims to be turned into textiles - put my fingers into the scratches left in the gas chamber walls by the victims, and seen the ponds that are still grey with human ashes.
Have you?

If nothing's sacred or real to you unless you've lived through it, history will repeat itself and we're fucked if we don't learn. NEVER AGAIN should these crimes against humanity be allowed to manifest, and NEVER should they be forgotten.
Along the way, you've also defecated on the memory of the people who lost their lives or suffered during the Japanese occupation...including your grandparents.
You should have never been born.

You see kuali baba, i respect your opinions.
Including your last sentence.
Perharps I think this thread has gone all wrong.
I believe when TS started this thread, he was just thinking from the fashion perspective. Nothing to do with history.
Just an innocent fashion perspective.
But along the way, he was bombared by forumers calling him 'immature'.(which i believe is your opinion of me,but its ok, doesn't really bother me.)
And if you notice along the way, majority of the replies here were giving historical views and opionion.
Why cant people just look things from the fashion sense? Just innocent fashion.

Why do you think Vicki Zhao had poo thrown at her for wearing an Imperial Japanese flag? Or that Prince Harry was condemned for wearing a Nazi uniform?
Look at it this way: Would you take a baseball bat from a crime scene and put it in your trophy cabinet, or turn an oddly-shaped piece of shrapnel into jewellery, also for vanity's sake? To consider these icons "nice to look at" is to say that they are meaningless, when they aren't.
So unfortunately, your opinion is flawed. Fashion is loaded with meaning, and what you wear makes a statement about you. Which is what the TS is trying to do (stand out from the crowd).

Ok, judging from your comments. I came to an conculsion that you cannot look things from a different perspective. And its a waste of time exchanging opinions with you.
Nevermind too, keep it up with your opinions and thinking. You have people of the same kind as you are here. You can gather an alliance and flame TS or anyone that has different thinking from you.
Frankly my dear, I dont really give a damn.
Farewell.

There's no need to flame him anymore for that.
As for you, you can't see that some things are inappropriate as fashion, that some things are sacred and that there's a limit to tolerance.
Whatever you do, just don't get people into trouble.
P.S. The red armband itself is fine, sans the slanted swastika.

Aaah! Kuali baba finally finally, you are starting to look things from another perspective. Which is great, truly appreciated by me. Thanks. Thats why i think too, red armband.
As for your 1st sentence, I agree with u, but to being with, there wasn't a need to flame him at the 1st place. In fact i feel for that poor boy. He just started a thread with innocent fashion perspective but he was targeted by certain forumers with another mindset or 'had a bad day'. Which I think isn't fair to him.
And for your 2nd sentence, its ok. I appreciated ur comments.
3rd sentence, I said earlier on to TS " do what you want, but be prepare for the consequences "
You see Kuali, It has been great to engage in a conversation with you. And If i say any harsh words earlier on, I apologise. I respect all your opinions, thats why you see I only reply to your qoutes on me, I didn't even bother to reply to those who weren't fair in their thinking.
It has been great, Kuali. Thanks
Nazi armband =/= red armband, and since you actually mean the latter, all's well then. Apologies accepted too and I offer mine if I've been harsh.
