oh. I missed that part of the article.
The punishment seems lenient. 24 months probation for credit card fraude and she is already above 18 years old so no longer a minor.
Maybe is because she is Ms Singapore World thats why the punishment is more lenient

I am all for second chances.
But this is bad publicity for the country if the organisers of the Ms World competition got wind of it.

But for these competitions, don't they ask you to fill in form to declare you don't have a police record, medical condition, and other terms and conditions before you join as a participant?

either she lied in the application form which even more justifies them to remove her title or the form didn't ask such questions because they are just interested in looking for pretty girls to join not interested to know whether they got such type of records anot
