Can a teacher indirect scold the student's parent?

One of the school teacher doesn't like student to say huh. the student must say pardon to show tat is polite to the teacher. but one of my friend she keep of forgetting and she keep on saying "huh" and that teacher scolded her : " huh ni ma". which means ( huh your mother) does school allow teacher to say this? should my friend report to the principle or the MOE?

That remind me when I was in Primary school in the early 1990s, my teacher used to scold 1 girl when she did not sit properly. The teacher say 'You mum must be a prostitiute so she did not teach u to sit properly."

errrr like that the teacher is just uncouth. But I don't think that he/she is trying to insult anybody's parents

ya but you donno what the person feel when you say that somemore is a teacher she should think twice before she say. so i still couldn't accept this. i feel that the teacher is not respecting the student and the student's parent.

yea i experienced my fair share of insults back when i was in pri school. Somehow I find that pri school teachers tend to be more unfeeling compared to sec school teachers. I had lots of problems with them back then. I even got slapped by one of them before. Once my PE teacher grab my arm and held it until my entire arm turned blue-black due to lack of blood circulation.

teacher are all the same. never ever think of student feelings. but somehow in my whole life my pri sch PE teacher is the best :D

lucky not my teacher. If not i sure hantam her. besides, how old is the kid that kena scolding.
If like sec 4 , then maybe its ok. But if like pri school. KNS! that teacher should be reprimanded.

if a primary school teacher slaps a boy , his parents will complain to MOE. if a teacher indirectly scolds the parents, the boy will tell his parents and parents will complain to MOE.

haha she was pri 3 . ya althought it needs 2 hand to clap but teacher in the first place shouldn't say this to student.

Bullying in school is a big problem these dayd but I dont expect the teacher to be one.

when teacher scold us/our parents,
we use to shout racist remarks to the teacher about their whole family etc

"huh" ni ma coming from a teacher is very uncouth. You've got every reason to complain.

I think you can mention this problem to another teacher, preferably someone older and more senior than the other teacher.
So the older and more senior one can then privately talk and advice the impulsive teacher to improve himself/ herself.
