It seems that only the top 3 winners in beauty pagenants get prizes while the rest of them even if they managed to get into top 20 or top 10 position do not get any prizes.
But when someone enters into a beauty pagenant, she have to spend her own money for expenses such as travelling, make up, clothes etc and she gets no reimbursement for these expenses unless she gets into top 3 position.
Isn't this unfair to the contestants?
the rest can hopefully be signed on as models by model agencies, social escorts agencies, or even be recruited into the selected few 'bao yang' candidates for sugar daddies to be taken care of financially...
Why is it unfair? It opens doors to them. Like paid advertising.
