And I asked. Let me rephrased it properly for you then.
Where in the HDB rules says that you have to be married to apply for a new subsidised HDB flat?

You so sure that in a divorce case its always the guy who give 50% of his property to the wife?
I have heard of divorce cases in which the judge rules that the wife gives a portion of her property to the husband instead.

Let me nitpick with you for a moment.
Why is it a 'new subsidesd flats which you MUST with your spouse or parents'?

So I didnt hear as good as you did.
But I read better.
Please advise the divorce case that was judged that the give wife gives a portion of her property to the husband.
Preferably with the reasoning, which I think you were trying to suggest, that the portion of property given to the husband does not include any trade-offs.
Like for example. The Judge ordered that property to be given to the husband, for his contribution to the marriage, that does not involved him giving her any monetary or custody or whatever trade off.
Opps, double post due to some technical fault.
I best get going, need to go pass a test, get another licence and go clear some work.
And get my favourite Mee Hoon Kueh for lunch before my test.

The wife earns more than the husband so they decided that the wife will work while the husband stays at home to take care of their kids.
When they divorced the judge ordered the wife to give some of her property to the husband

See the white hair and use the scissors to snip, snip, snip instead : D
Hey fire. . . since u looking for opinions, i'l give u mine
i will never jump into marriage for the sole purpose of getting a subsidy. there are more important things to worry abt than that. u gonna be staying with the spouse in that house anyway. make sure its the right man/woman to share the home with. you wouldn't want the home to turn into a warzone. after all, we all want to live a happy life. . . think more than just dollars and cents. there are some things that money cant buy and those are the things we should go out and obtain. . .
so ya. . . take it easy :)

Yes so.......which is this landmark divorce case you are refering to?
And this time, let me hint:
Mr So & So versus Ms So & So.
Or a case number will suffice. Like in Petition No. 9999 of 2009.
