  Now 'A' level can earn corporal stripes easily in the army.Before 3 'O' levels can become Police Inspectors and Army officers.A lot of the old timer higher ranking officers managed to reach the rank of Colonel but not General.It is not that they were not oustanding career officers it is merely because they failed their 'A' level exams>LOL
