  Was discussing old laws with a old friend.

  Those brown papers with printing on it in ink.

  I still have some binded copies.  Too bad they were old Police SOPs......cannot scan to show.

  Some of them looks like they will break apart liao.  Feel like getting approvals to laminate them single sheet by single sheet, before they totally disintergrate.

  That is why I had to say thank you cuz that was my parents favorite beach too.As long as there was a place to picnic and be near the waters was good enough...back then we enjoyed walking in the mud at low tide picking up marine life more than swimming at hightide

  Yup lots of marine life like starfishes and shells to pick at lowtide. Ocassionally a seahorse too.

  One time I did mention about sea horses in Singapore waters and some forumnites were interested in what I was drinking or smoking>LOL.I remember there were two main species of Starfish.One is whitish with 5 pointed side which is perfect for throwing like 'ninja stars' the other one thick bulky reddish /brown.We liked to smuggle them in the car against our parents wishes cuz these creatures would die and stink up the place very fast.

  I was chatting with a nurse while being waiting to be sedated........and we talked about those little pink or green mini guavas we used to have in kampong yards.

  And how we can take out hibiscus flowers from our kampong and suck on the juice/nectar of the flowers from the buds.

  Now with all the pollutions and fertilizers, how many of us dared to just suck on fresh flowers plucked from the roadside?
