PedoBear, how do i hack the logic controller? =x

first of all, i am assuming your digital clock are those 4 digit LEDs types

each digit is made up of 7 LEDs; 4 digits x 7 LEDs = 28 LEDs
basically, there is a controller chip in the clock that is controlling the 28 LEDs to light up in the correct sequence to display the time.
open up the clock, look through the PCB, if you can see the chips then you are in luck, you just need to locate the chip that controls the LEDs and reprogram it to only display 12:17 instead of the time.
some chips are cemented to the PCB with those black and hard stuff to prevent tampering, if thats the case, the chips cannot be reprogrammed.
assuming you can see the chip, there should be a brand and model number on it. google the brand and model to get the chip's specs and programming guide.
bad chip

good chip

wow, pedobear! thanks for the info! i will try it out. if i cant manage to change it successfully, can i pay u to do it? =x

you need the clock to be functioning or just display 12:17?
Its easier to break the clock and make it display 12:17 than to reprogram the chip.
if really interested, for chip reprogramming cost to me is $300 and it takes 48 hours.
break clock to only display 12:17, cost to me is $50 but meet at my convenience, takes about 1 hr
You take a picture of it at 12:17, print it, cut it out and paste on your digital clock. ![]()
he already said anniversary time so it has to be functioning and freezes exactly at 12:17. that's what i assume la.
like 12:15 then 12:16 then 12:17 FREEZE.
i think a silent alarm that flashes at the set alarm time will do actually.
if that's not what he wants the n idunno already
