In the past in the 1970s when computer and internet and handphone was not invented yet, how do people apply for jobs?
They can't just email their resume to their company and the company also cannot call them on their handphoen to arrange for interview.
Than if the company call their house than they not in.
The person have to send their resume and photocopy of education certificates by post to the company and if the company cannot contact the candiate as he/she is not at home than the company have to send letter to the candiate home informing him/her of the interview date/time
Its so slow and troublesome
I really pity the ignorance of the pple nowadays , in the old day when you apply for jobs , you just have to read the newspaper , call up and they will arrange for interview on the spot . Then when you reach there , they will get whatever document they need from you and if they like you , they will tell you on the spot . If they want to consider , then they will call you by phone , and if you happen to be away then maybe they will pass msg to your family member or call again for maybe 2 or 3 times then give up ok young boy ?
Internet is not everything in this world and even without internet this world still rotates ok . Besides the Virgin boss have today because that time he did not have an email for pple to contact him , otherwise he wouldn't have today also .
