  Hi everyone

  I wish to learn graphic design. More specifically, designing webpages and periodicals (pages and covers). i'm doing this so that I can help out in my CCA's publications committee.

  Anyone has any idea where I can acquire such skills?

  There are a lot of books on this in the library, i use to go there and learn

   

  Design webpage u need to learn HTML basics and some javascript. HTMLs can be learnt at http://www.w3schools.com/

  After that you can go to utube and look at photoshop tutorials. Learn as much tools as possible. Photoshop is like maths, the tools, like formulae, perform certain functions, and it is up to your creativeness and experience to apply them

  For web, Learn how to create nice looking buttons, patterns, etc.After that, learn how to slice the image using photoshop's slice and save for web tool
  A good website needs to have  user friendly navigations, i read this somewhere, long time ago, but forgotten

  For pages and cover people normally use Adobe indesign and illustrator. Photoshop will also do.

  It is okay to not to have some programs, you need to make the best out of what you have
