is it medicine, engineering or architecture or dentistry that are the most difficult degree course at Uni?
I reckon its medicine or dentistry, followed by architecture as they are all 5 years to graduate.
wat do u mean by difficult??
isit bcos the course is really difficult, or student too stupid??
the most demanding degree course lar. nothing to do with stupidity or what lar
whoever can get into medicine, sure have no issue coping, cos not every tom dick or harry can get into medicine. but still the course is demanding as expected of a doctor when you have graduated. tonnes of medicine names to remember, diseases, not to mention body structure, and surgery.
dude why u answering ur own qn ? ?
cos I think medicine and dentistry, followed by architecture the toughest. what do you reckon?
if your degree is all plain smooth throughout, you wont gain much once you graduate. no pain no gain.
Medicine is the toughest. Followed by dentistry then law. These are the top 3 most "difficult" courses. Memory and memory. Medicine and dentistry extra stress because it involves dealing with patients in the future.
Architecture is easier, but you need interview before you can get in. the course is 5 years and I see students staying back in school almost every night because they course involves alot of project, and structural building.
Other courses that are of moderate difficulty includes life sciences, chemistry, physics, pharmacy, pharmacology, maths, statistics and engineering.
The so called easier course, easier to get in courses are building, real estate, and those from faculty of arts and social sciences.
In summary, actually all courses are very difficult. You may do well in life science but find arts module damn fucking difficult. You may sometimes struggle with engine stuffs, but find arts and science modules a piece of cake.
Therefore, they is no really difficult or tough course. But if you want me to choose, medicine, dentistry and law are the most "tough" and requires excellent A level results to enter.

From what i hear, lots of students are complaining about uber smart "foreigners" driving up grades and more influx of students every-year just makes spots getting competitive. I am not anti foreigner here, i am just saying all subjects are hard to score now, top scorers in my economics lecture were all vietnamese and PRC 100/100.
I can tell you what are the easiest, the arts and social sciences =)
wow.....maybe it's the motivation that counts
Chemical engineering.
Financial engineering / modelling.
A lot lah.....
