Hey guys, recently, I discovered some reddish spots on my head, it became more obvious after I cut my hair short. My hairdresser friend told me its just pimples, but apparently my scalps have quite a lot of tthem. And I'm starting to worry if its some scalp problem.
Is this a normal occurance that will go away eventually, and is there anything I can do about it? Or is this something serious that requires treatment? Wil be grateful for any advices given, thanks!

If you are really worried about it, you can go down to the polyclinic and have the doctor take a look at it.
Btw, have you changed the type of shampoo which you are using recently? This could be one of the reason.
Actually yes, I usually jump from shampoo to shampoo. I use whatever my mum bought.. so you are saying this could be a cause?

That is a possibility. Perhaps your scalp is sensitive or allergic to a particular type of shampoo. Try using another brand of shampoo which you used before and work fine for you, and see if there is any improvements.
check with a derm it could be serborrheic dermatitis
when u washing ur hair.. rmb to wash ur scalp too by sinking ur finger and fingernail down to the scalp there and rub, but not too hard if not will bleed... this is to help wash out the dirts and oil u have on ur scalp..
