I watch a documentary show just now on channel newsasia on fighting forest fire.
Even with modern technology such as helicopters pouring down powder on the fire, powerful water hose etc, it is still very difficult to fight forest fire.
I wonder how do people in the past, few thousand years ago when people were still riding on horses, how do they fight forest fire?
Maybe they carry a bucket and than ride on the horse to the river, fill the bucket with water, than ride back to the forest and pour the water at the fire? ![]()
They dun... Either they run away or they try to remove surrounding of flamable material, IE: Trees... Fire will stop buring when there's nthing to burn...
How do they remove trees from the forest when there is a hugh fire?!!!
not the immediate surrounding... they'll quickly remove trees some distance away from the fire...so in between the forest, there's a empty spot and there will be a trenchline dug so the fire wont spread through the grass...
there shld be some documentary films on this ard though...
