Kids of ages 5 and 6 in Kindergarten do not enjoy any privileges that Primary School going kids enjoy. Their monthly school fees are exorbitantly expensive (S$125)compared to a Primary School Education (S$5.50). They are charged Adult fare at cinemas and as well as when they visit Dentists. If they do not hold a usable Child's Ezlink card and taller than 1.2m, they will also be charged Adult fare. Many rides in Themes parks are catered for those 1.2 meter and above and again, kindergarten kids are out. They are the forgotten groups that our society prefer to cast them out of the society system as if they are not useful or productive to society at all.
S$125 is an affordable price to pay for people to spend time with the adorable children.

i think this is a good issue for all to ponder. Somebody should bring this up to the media.
Govt are like bosses, they claim everyone has a part to play, everyone can contribute, yet they discriminate against you and think you're just a nobody as their position is higher than yours. Get what i mean? hmmmm..

Isn't this the common behaviour of most Singaporeans when they suddenly acquired some form of power status over their counterparts?
Be it their own imaginative powers of status egos, arrogance, selfishness and discriminating already formed part of the nature of the Singaporeans around us.

when they grow up , they will be used and dumped in JB wor. If by some freak of nature, they don't grow up, it will be better for them.

Another category ... children out of single mums. No baby bonus and benefits offered to married couples. It appears the govt is telling us, who cares what happens to these poor little ones. But when they are old enough (boys) to go into NS, they suddenly become citizens with equal rights. When they are old enough to contribute to society and pay income tax, they suddenly become citizens with equal rights too. But when they were small and defenceless ... hmm ...

What is the purpose of kindiegarten???? Is it compulsory? Is it necessary in the first place? Shouldnt kids be allowed whatever that's left of their childhood - to play and be kids instead of being pressured into formal schooling????
And WHO will pay for such subsidies except us - THE PEOPLE??? AND FOR WHAT??? - TO SATISFY THE DESIRE OF PARENTS TO PUSH, FORCE THEIR KIDS TO STUDY INSTEAD OF CHILDHOOD PLAYS???
No, let those who want to push their kids do so at their own costs. No kid will lose out, for it is only when kids start growing at 6 years old then would they be capable of better comprehension, which our national subsidised schools and graduate teachers will be more effective to train and mould them, and offer them the opportunities to a life based on merit.
SPARE THE KIDS AND USE OUR FUNDS WISELY PLEASE!!!
