If is real nice if all can do that. Unfortunately most probably you can't unless there are parallel universes. In which case you just correct the mistake and immediately pop into another universe . But then you will have other problems in that other universe because you are interacting with the physical world (including people) all the time. Also you will not remember you history in this universe from the point you jump ship. So you can't compare whether it is a good choice.
Most important, you have not idea that you has now switched to another universe
we see no future tourists so time travel = 100% wont happen
Time travel can be done...
but can your body's biomechanism take it?
wait jump halfway lau sai...how...?

But there seem to be plenty of tourists from the past. Just look at the hordes of people around you who so dearly hold on to the bronze age superstition of the Abrahamic based religions.
those are escapists who want to revel in the past to escape from the harsh reality of modern times.
the true "tourists from the past" are those who believe any thing related to the divine / holy.

that isn't entirely true.
one factor is the grandfather paradox. if you could go back in time, and you decided to kill your grandfather before he even meets your grandmother, that means you logically cannot possibly be born in the first place.
taking that into account, there are several reasons why nobody has seen a "time tourist" from the future.
