  A Canister with a airtight lid.  A kg of SIS sugar. 2 stalks of organic vanilla in its pods.

  Put vanilla pods in canister, pour sugar onto them and keep in fridge.

  Or whizz a small bottle of vanilla essence with the sugar and store in canister in fridge.

  Tie a ribbon over it.

  And you have Vanilla Sugar.  Good for spooning into coffee and even Hot Chocolate for the whole family.

  If you are unable to find the shop in Chinatown which engraves pictures into stones, perhaps you will like to try getting a pair of caricature figurines instead.

  that one marina square got. but takes at least 1 week to make. both are not cheap. whats your budget?

  i'm not really thinking abt budget yet. Still gathering more ideas first then i will evaluate them. But budget wise, i think maybe less than 500 sgd? I know my gf does like gadgets so i was thinking abt getting the wii at first....
