anyway, this what they said:
coming in 2nd half 2011, then "orientation", public display from 2012
sponsored by capitaland. cost estimated $1m/year
coming as part of a "research programme"
and of cos, diplomatic and political reasons.
besides singapore, USA, Japan and a handful of countries has pairs of pandas on loan.

I still remember my unforgettable moment visitting Singapore Zoo...and watching a performance of the Polar Bear......they are so graceful and elegant........
