  " I and Timah arrived at Brunei on board The Royal Brunei Airways at 2.30 pm. Cik and Rosni came to the airport to meet us. Bukit Sallilah is windy because located near the sea.   think you got it. here's a bit of my reading in square brackets but the meanings are similar.

  The post card must be a keepsake, for it is dated in the year 1975, thirty four years ago.

  There is a standard postage for post cards then, don't remember how much . Letters would be weighed and postage charged accordingly. Therefore postcards are used to drop a line that you have arrived safely.
