So easy to play prank on the circuit breaker

  I just realised that the circuit breaker outside your house which controls all the electricity in your house is very easy for people to sabo you.

   

  If your neghbours don't like you, all he have to do is at midnight he goes over to open your circuit breaker and switch it to off and your whole house will have a blackout.

   

  Imagine at midnight when everybody is sleeping and than the electricity just get cut off.

   

  It is so easy for your neghbiours who don't like you to sabo you.

   

  Shouldn't they have some kind of security such as a lock or something like that on the circuit breaker to prevent anybody from just opening it and switching off the electricity?

  erm not circuit breaker lah. I don't know what is it called. But every house will have a main switch outside of your house which have the on and off button.

  And in the event that the household have a family member on certain machineries to maintain their lives or they fell down and hurt themselves while stumbling in the dark to get to the circuit breaker.

  Maybe then, a new law will come out where such pranksters be detacted and punish-able for manslaughter or be liable for payment for the rest of the victims life.

  Think about it.

  neighbour across next block last time got caught playing with someones circuit breaker....police came and handcuffed him on spot next day for mischief.some people saw him at night doing it n took pictures.

  If someone went to report to the police, the police will sure track down who it is want.. So better don't play play..
