I don't think so. Our country is small. Flood place with foreigners is not the way to go. Standard of living will decline due to overcrowding.

PAP thought that construction workers is what Singapore lacks, gives the PRC the green light to be citizen and continue his construction trade. When PRC gets his citizenship, he switches his trade to hawker.
No wonder these days Geylang so many eateries, if you drive by, you will notice that 8 out of 10 shops are eateries. Geylang is the new ChinaTown.
