Well I've got zero experience regarding tailored shirts, but the boyfriend is flying here on the 30th, and leaving on the 11th, and I guess I need a shirt custom-made for him; I want a custom-made prsent for him as opposed to buying one off the rack.
Anyone knows which tailors are good? I've heard about CYC, but apparently it is okay, but it is a little over-priced and over-rated. Money isn't really the concern here, I just prefer it done within two weeks, or maybe maximum two and a half, because I'm flying off to go back with him too.
What can I expect? And will the tailor see that he's not local and try to ketok us?
heh, go to chinatown, i think people's park.my mommy did her new year's clothes there, its quite nice.
any specific tailors? and more info please. price? materials? buttons used? and men's shirts only thanks.
obviously.but sadly i dont rmb.sorry, i only know people's park.

How do you expect the tailor the tailored the shirts for your bf if your bf isn't present to be measured???
Don't know if any tailor want to tailor shirts for an invisible man.
did you not read my post? i said i prefer it done within two weeks, which is within his stay in singapore.
quit being a dumbfuck and start opening your eyes.

If you failed to express your intentions clearly in your post, then that's your problem.
Don't behave like an unwanted orphan from some broken family if you don't know how to ask your Father or Uncles or even your cousins or real-life friends.
No wonder you have to come begging to sgforums and demand people for help because your Father didn't have time to teach you how to behave yourself while he's having fun with another women.
Only a retarded whore like you would give a custom-made present for your boyfriend WITHOUT the element of surprise. ![]()

I tailor with CYC. And they are nice enough to post to where-ever you are, if you ask them nicely.
Oxford Tailor at top floor of OUB Centre (shopping mall side) does a decent job too.
I also go to Lucky Tailor at City Plaza. The old man tailor there (I am not sure he is still operating his shop) have some old fashion but pretty interesting textured fabrics that can make your tailored shirts looks a bit more one of the kind instead of those you get from Raoul. He does only mens tailoring, but last time on request from my ex spouse, he did for me a lovely brown chinese collar shirt which I still keep and wear today, even if its looking really worn out.

This is again, where your logic is flawed.
Enemies do not practise what you think they should, and neither are they meant to do what you dictate they should.
Because ultimately, you do not have the IQ so far as shown to quantify them being as low down the chain of IQ and EQ as you think they should be.
But anyway, back to the shirts.
I am wearing my CYC shirt now. Either I really put on too much weight, or the material shrunk a bit more then expected by the tailors. I bought the shirt back to them once, and they claim its still the correct length at my wrists though I think its a bit too short.
Because CYC does Shanghai Tailoring, which means they used only one thread for the whole shirt. Adjusting the cuffs might take some more time and work.
oh well. i think i decided on the boat quay tailor. my friend raved about it. lol
thanks VK! will report back after we get the shirt! :)
i think shanghai tailoring like abit extreme right? lol. whatever they use, as long as it fits best. one thread only sounds kind of gimmicky to me.
ignore him la. he's just an attention seeker, dont know anything about MTM shirts wanna come in and kaopeh.
