  I keep at least one $10000 note in my wallet, just in case I see a LV bag that I like, then I can just buy on the spot.

  government is making a crazy profit with all these bank notes..
  and old banknotes beomces collectors' items instead of tissue paper
  but luckily, all old banknotes remains legal tender unlike indonesia and many countries

  Those notes that has Suharto printed on it.  Or those notes 10 years ago.  Are not longer use-able in Indonesia.  Chances are, you bring out those notes to pay for anything in Indonesia....people will drag you to the alley to beat your senseless.
