Its important in life not to judge people people in terms of monetary value or the properties they stayed or the car they drove or even the qualifications they have.
we should respect people for what they are, not cos of what they have. how many people can truly live up to this in this day and age I wonder.

None....sadly.
I respect people who have what they have, because its what they worked for.
There is no respect for people that are parasites on their family.
agreed.
Besides....we respect people for who they are. Lets say they are scums of the earth, but because they are nice to you in speech and behaviour, but at the back, without you knowing it, they were spreading gossip about you, telling stories about you to show how 'innocent and sweet they are'.
Are these people still worth respecting, because of what you deem they are? Nice people?

this type of people also everywhere. some upgraded the way they tok bad about you also very crafty. do it like they are always the sayer the god.
Respect must be earned - Whatever they say or do affects just that.
So far, only a small handful of forumers here have earned my respect..whereas a lot more have earned it as cretinous individuals..
Like what VK has said,
"I respect people who have what they have, because its what they worked for.

It is true!

dun exist! no such thing! ![]()
rooney, i absolutely agree with you.
Question:
If TS is trying to suggest that people should respect other people for what they are, and not what they have.
A good example will be a favourite of our ever bashing the PM and its family people at the SCs.
Did you ever shake the hands of our PM, his wife and ever made friendly conversation to the family members of our leaders? Were they as impersonal, rude or disrespectful to you before you deemed them to be trash?
Or you just bash them because they are the leaders, which have what you do not have?
just be yourself.
there are people who judge. let them be
ther are people who claims that they don't - how ture is it only they themselves know
but if you judge that someone is only making use of you and uses the 'hey you judging me equation" dont fall for the trick.
do a clean cut and let them judge you they way they want instead of losing out more at your own end
we cant control how other people think or feel, but you can be non judgemental. but easier said than done, as our brain and mind are always perceiving things, info, facts and events etc. probably thats how bias, prejudice, looking down on people etc, are the results of sensory pickup.
And to follow that up.
When you judged on people you never knew in person. Or have the courage to face.
Then others are also judging you based on your behaviour.
Which is more reasonable. That you be honourable to yourself and others, and then people can respect you.
Or you pretend to be honourable, and demand that others respect you?
For a new year. Which will you rather be?
