Working in service line

Anyone here work in the service line? I do. Nightlife somemore. How do you all feel about working?
I gotta say, some customers are super difficult man. Just cos they pay a bit or that they think are the customer they have the right to be arrogant and mean and treat us like dogs.
Just had to rant.

hmmm? I used to do service line also wor... Both day and nite de also got do b4...
But funny though... When i used to do nite jobs, the customers all very good de... I've nv seen difficult customer at nite b4... Day de got plenty -______-

Ya i'm also working as Service Line now.. All sort of guest/customer also seen before.. Those cheapskate, tai tai or those how lian want, damn shit want.. Just scold them in your heart will do or give them black face.. haha

Yeah, scold them in your heart, but cannot show black face, just smile and forget everything the moment the customers step out of the shop.

Haha ya same thinking.. Why those guest won't put themself in our shoes right? 1 day if they were to serve us and we give all those shitty attitude to them, they will also have the same feeling like us.. haha.. anyway what line you working?

I prefer to face ppl from all walks of life
then the monitor from 8-5 everday

I prefer the customers in the morning, Ang Mohs which are really really nice, they sometimes share their trips around the world and they really do not mind if the kitchen messes up their order and take a longer time... as long as the food is good! But onces it reaches around 4-5 pm.... Singaporeans, which most of the time have to be treated like kings and queens even if they order one little tiny cheap drink and sit there forever.

I totally agree... Morning is best le... Most ppl are very polite... Esp, the ang mohs... Once afternoon, all types of ppl appear le...I've seen 4 ladies who are carry Gucci and Prada shopping bags but shared 1 pot of red tea for like 4-5 hours in the afternoon... and they kept asking for refill with hot water... Got money can buy luxury goods, no money order another pot of tea????

I hate people studying at f&b places... don't they got a home or the library to study at? And if we ask them to leave, it's as if we are the bad people chasing out customers.... again, they each order one pot of tea and stay very long.
And I really dislike when ah lians come, I mean if you can't afford it, don't both... right? 4 of them come in, order 1 drink and all 4 of them share.... I rather they go macs which is just nearby, they can get 4 cokes for 4 bucks!!! Wish all these people see what we see.... -

those shopping bags i refered to are the plastic bags the shop gave u after u purchase something from there... Meaning they just bought bags from there...I dun think they bo liaox enuff to get pirated bags elsewhere then come paragon drink tea ah...

I know I always think of that, but it's just a waste of time serving them, they don't appricate your service one bit.

mmm I have no qualms doing a lot of irritating things, no matter how small since it's part of the jobscope. I just don't get why some people have to be mean about it. Cheapskate never mind, but if I am serving you, why must you shout back? This kind I also kena before sia. Sometimes we just trying to do our job and not within our power to do anything, then they still not happy insist they are right... when they are wrong.
I find ang mohs got 2 extremes: The extremely nice kind who I think show us that we Singaporeans are perhaps too conservative. Or extremely arrogant fucked up ones who think they are better than asians.

no leh, me working at nitespot got no such problem, coming to nitespots must be rich peoples, where got poor people come, poor go kopitiam drink with PRC aunties, Rich come my pub to drink with young gals. Maybe you are poor, that is why despite the rich, these are goldmine, please respect them, they paid you ok.
To tackle the rich to spent more is simple, just compare them against each other, they will spent more to float their richness, just like Mr Tan ordered Beer, and Mr Benny order Chivas, you go cho cho Mr Tan that Mr Benny ordered Chivas, so grand and stylish, later Mr Tan will order Martel Blue. And I make money liao....UNDERSTAND!!!
