Teacher Pay Scale?

  I have been out of touch with MOE for a while, ever since I left in 2002. What is the current pay scale like, at GEO2A3, GEO1A3 or even SEO1? Any current teacher who has access to the pay scales can comment? Thank you so much.

  I don't think current teachers can give you information on that because pay scale is confidential.

  Have you called MOE to check?

  i think those japanese ones pay higher, they got have to appear in front of the camera somemore

  One of my army mates is a teacher at a secondary school, and in charge of a uniformed group cca, told me he's getting around 3k, also supplements his pay thru giving external tution.

  depend on the weighing scale, some teacher real fat one will get higher pay

  Just curious, does a 3rd Class Honours earn higher pay than those who obtain " Pass with Merit"?

  I heard from some that 3rd Class and 2nd Class (Lower Division) Honours ppl earn roughly the same pay.

  Is it true?

  Shouldnt primary school teacher get a pay rise?

  Nowadays, primary school teacher need to teach and need to analysis each of the students. Not an easy job. Unlike the last time in the 70s, just teach only.

  Yes to the first question, yes to the 2nd question.
