iphone or ipod touch better???

  i only now then considering buying....cos main function i wan is the wifi lol..

  help pls?? which one better, and what capacity what generation?? what's the best to buy considering the market price now?

  i wan surf net on mrt too, must sign up data plan ah? i alr starhub contracted liao, but only ends on july 2011. no choice but i dun want cut contract lei cos gotta pay. pls help!!

  thanks arh...i now looking all over the place for the pricing but damn confusing...den diff shops also diff price walau. thanks. additional help appreciated :)

  but someone told me to use wifi on iphone need data plan den can surf on mrt also. so if i buy ipod touch no data plan cannot surf on mrt right??

  i make calls or not nvm one, main function i wan is the wifi :D

  yup, u need a data plan coz inside mrt is not a hotspot unlike library for example..

  iPod touch if you don't find the need for its phone features (mms/sms/call), camera and compass. As far as I know the mms & sms can be solved by using some of those web sms services, for call use Skype or wait for Google Voice to come to SG. For camera just get a proper camera, phone camera always sucks. Compass is just another feature throw in which I don't find any use for it. Beside an iPod Touch is cheaper and has larger space. Also the new generation have a capability to become a radio if Apple ever unlock that feature.

  iPhone if you want everything to be intergrated into it but if you those kind who like to be unique than avoid this phone at all cost, take a trip on the MRT and you will know why.

  both can use WiFi.
  if wanna surf inside MRT, that is a data plan. u need SIM card and iPhone to surf.. but the old MRT got no decent data speeds to worth surfing

  if u want internet connection soooo much, then get iphone lo. the thing about ipod touch is that u can pa game and enjoy apps until batt die also no prob coz ur hp not affected.

  i have an ipod touch liao, so for me i will wanna get a smartphone which can tether with my ipod touch to surf net..

  well, almost everyone on the street is using iphone now. you can probably spot someone playing away on his/her iphone in every cabin on the mrt.

  dont get the iphone if u think its too common. the ipod touch should be able to satisfy your needs if u just want the apps.
