Hello,
I'm a foreigner from Europe who has been offered a consulting position in Singapore. I happen to be a M2F transgendered person, meaning I want to have the sexual characteristics of both sexes. I take certain medications for personal use - namely injectable estrogen, progesterone and anti-androgens. Where I come from, it is legal to order these hormones via the internet for personal use without a prescription.
I understand Singapore's laws on drugs are very strict and I want to be clear on this subject. Are these hormones considered to be "drugs" of the same type as heroin, cocaine, etc? I buy these medications over the internet without a medical Dr's prescription. Long story - medics don't recognise transgendered people (wanting to have a female body and male "bits") but see someone as either transsexual or not. So I couldn't get my hormones through official means.
Can I bring these into the country or buy them over the internet and have them shipped to my new address in Singapore without problems?
How can I be perfectly legal about this?
Thanks :)
