have u ever received anything unusual inside an ang pow?

  During CNY period...waa, lotsa ang pow to receive.

  anything unusual would be anything other than uncirculated crisp Yusof Ishak Singapore banknotes in denominations of $2, $5, $10, $50 or $100 (most common being $2 & $10)

  maybe u received....old Singapore banknotes like $1 or $2 ship or bird series..

  foreign banknotes like Ringgit or RMB or US$ or Euro

  Flyers or namecards inside the ang pow together with mony

  coins...

  chocolate coins (yes, used to keep getting them back in secondary school CNY celebration from teachers)

  Empty ang pow (probably an honest mistake)

  Hell banknotes (touch wood). monopoly money

  handwritten notes etc....

  shopping vouchers, discount coupons...

  come n share your discoveries!

  Not unusual for me though. I got it too.

  Most unusual for me is to get Brunei notes inside my angpow from one of my relatives.

  Some time back, during a marriage reception....

  Some joker put Hell money note inside his / her angbao.....

  Wanted to find out who is this joker bastard from CCTV or something.....but in the end, decided to forget about it.....

  I find that nothing wrong receiving empty ang pow... for it carry the blessings that the other person meant to give... dunno why people sigh when get like 2 bucks in it when opening the ang pow...
