tought human only cheat,but machine also cheat

  i always tought that human only cheat and make mistake.Bank ATM machine also cheat

  recently went to bank to withdrawl $130(sice there is no $50 so the machine dispense all in $10dollar note,new money with serial number arrange).when the money came out and i count it only $120.and the recipet  print $130.so where the $10 go to?

  call bank they say they will investigate and deposit the money back to my account by 6pm.on monday .so today go back check no have..consider burnt.

  bcos machine is programmed by humans oso......
  for such thing u have to call to poke them to do something
  or else they think u not urgent so they will sit on it and hopefully u will 4get abt it

  are the $10 notes those "plastic" types..
  if yes then high chances of the machine miscalculated due to its smoothness..

  if they still nvr credit the $10 back, go straight to the bank counter & let them know..
  sometimes calling them is as good as not calling..

  btw, hope you still have the receipt..

  I wonder how many of us actually COUNT the money from the ATMs...

  Makes me worry cos i usually nvr count hehe...

  Well, personally, i feel, dun go down to the bank yourself, cos u gotta stand in queue for sometimes 30min, for something which is totally unreasonable and not your fault!! I also suspect that even if u tell them your story, they will STILL ask u to queue up...

  Much better to call (even tho that is wasting your money too) and insist they fix a deadline by which they must refund u.

  And if u have guts, ask them for "Reimbursement" of your wasted handphone minutes too :D

  Don't accept their crap about "sometimes machine-errors happen". Think about it for a moment...IT SHOULDNT.

   

  PS: mind telling us which bank it is?

  Keep pestering them . It ts still money and you should not be paying for their mistake.

  Investigation is usually very fast. Check the print out balance against the actual balance in the ATM. If the amount checks, then the machine made no mistake. Check also if there are any other complains about the same machine.

  If there is $10 excess, then it is yours.

  But if the machine gave you $10 short, and gave the next fella extra $10, then the balance would tally. So machine made no mistake, as far as the bank is concern.

  They are probably discussing whether to accept your claim and authorise the release of $10 back to you.

  Bank officers are not known to be brave.

  machine got no $50 notes..it only have $10 note only.

  all new notes with running number

  Hi eveyone thanks for the reply and help.Thinking of stomp it.but I just receive sms from bank say that the money have been credited to my bank account.Wonder nowadays bank never call coustmer anymore?.save bill DBS bill?

  some place the vendor sell can drinks now cheaper than vending machine. Esp those peddle ones since they no need pay rental.
