sky turns orange for awhile then no more..?

  If you notice at night, especially tonight, a certain part of the sky turns bright orange, dimmers for 20 seconds, then disappears! then it comes back on again like 1 minute later and it dimmers again.

  anyone knows why?

  but cannot be leh, if its from refineries... how is it able to really bright up the sky so much and be visible from many different parts of the island? especially, I live in the tpy area, and only at a really low level man.

  singapore has been misaligned closer to the sun due to earthquake.

  ever since the chile earthquake,have you felt the country being:

  1)hotter

  2)planet changes from natural phenomenon

  either that or its a UFO having engine problems hiding in a cloud.

  alot of people thrown their CNY mandarin oranges at pasir panjang big rubbish dump, so when the sunlight shine on it near sun set, it reflect on the sky, and if you stand at the right place, you can see the reflection...hope that explain yr enquiry.

  i was at sentosa last night and keppel bay two weeks ago. same place... the column will suddenly ignite huge flames for a few seconds, turning your night sky into an orange glow!

  I noticed sometimes its in the north, then south, then south, then north, it just goes on and off. If its the north I can understand, but I am puzzled that the same is coming from the south.

  Even noticed it when driving down CTE just before the bukit timah exit approaching tunnel, the light was from the south.

  ok lah ok lah i admit lah... my boss never give mi increment this time.. so i work till sianz sianz play with the switch in the refineries lor wan to show my boss some "colour" what... who know almost everyone in sg saw it too.. knn..
